Had an excellent stay with family. We stayed at the saffron suite. Was pleasantly surprised at how spotlessly clean the suite was. The staff was courteous and helpful. They were also sure to check on whether we will have dinner before closing the kitchen which was very thoughtful of them. Beautiful property. Definitely likely to stay here again if we return. The dining capacity is however not enough for the number of rooms they have which is anyways limited, but they still manage well.

This is a beautiful property, well laid out in a natural way with meandering paths leading up to your rooms. Yes there is a gentle incline as you walk up. And it may be difficult for the elderly and physically impaired. But here, i must add, that the welcoming housekeeping team led by Basharat Hussain, made it so easy for us by carrying, not only our luggage but handbags too. Very specifically what touched my heart was that Basharat, a friendly and happy man, immediately spotted that one of my group members, elderly lady was finding it difficult! He immediately took the initiative to quickly run and fetch a wheelchair for her and easily got her up to her room! All with a smile and cheer. My special thanks for that Basharat! The rooms are large and airy with good visibility. There are radiators to keep you warm in winter! Toilets are spanking clean with 24 hrs running hit water. The towels are a delight! The entire house-keeping team is happy and friendly lot. Eager, attentive, caring and efficient! Always available for our smallest of needs. My compliments to the entire team..... Thank you. The food served here is delightful! The buffet breakfast and dinner are a lavish spread of fresh and sumptuous dishes! Enough items to keep everyone happy. The Lachha Parathas are to die for…… pure whole wheat… NO MAIDA! And to top it all the restaurant staff were a cheery, efficient and homely lot. They took care of each of our individual needs, such as crispy and non crispy parathas and toasts! Extra spicy to no spice at all preparations! They were eager to customise most every item as per our needs! AMAZING! Besides the entire restaurant team we all would like to SPECIALLY thank Danish Ayob, Tanveer and Ubaid Raina, for their efficient and cheerful service and for taking care of us in every way! It was because of them that we started our day with good cheer and an over-full stomach! And oh yesss…. a huge recommendation to all fish eaters: PLEASE DO NOT GO WITHOUT EATING THE GRILLED TROUT! A very special thanks to Chef Abdullah for this amazing preparation! It the best i have ever tasted! And lastly my personal thanks to Chef Anarul for the amazing Lachha Parathas…. among all the other dishes! We had the most comfortable and happy and peaceful stay at Kolahi Green, Pahalgam! Highly recommend it to ALL!
